13/25.- Fez, Medina, Dar Batha museum

Near the Bab Boujeloud Gate is the Dar Batha museum. The museum displays a collection of old artifacts and art pieces. The main reasons for which I recommend a visit to this place is its relaxing garden, which you can see in the picture, and for its terrace, from where there is a great view of the medina of Fez.

If you cannot find your way to the roof of the palace, ask one of the kids you will find in the museum. I am still not sure if the kids that guided us worked here, but they were a great help. At the end of the tour, I gave them some dirhams.

The museum closes its doors during the midday heat. It reopens around 14h30.
