14/17.- Bikaner, Karni Mata Rat Temple

If you plan to visit the temple, you'd better bring thick socks, because once inside the temple you will have to walk on the rat's excrements and food. By the way, we are talking about big rats, not mice, and they are filthy!

But remember that locals come to the rat temple to venerate the goddess and their deceased relatives.
