2/35.- Jaipur, Amber Fort

Jaipur is the political and commercial capital of Rajasthan, thus it is very well connected. You can get to Jaipur by plane through its airport, which has some international flights, and plenty of domestic flights; by overnight trains from Delhi, Agra, and Mumbai; by bus, from Delhi and most destinations in Rajasthan (Jodhpur and Jaisalmer); and by car (from Delhi 4 hours, and from Jodhpur 6 hours)

Most tours of Rajasthan that start in Delhi visit Jaipur as the first or the last destination, and spend two days here. If you are traveling on your own, you can extend your stay.
