1/30.- Welcome to Fort Kochi, India

Kochi, or Cochin, is a city in the state of Kerala, south of India. The city is divided in several districts, one of them is Fort Kochi, where most of the tourist landmarks are.

Fort Kochi is a colonial town, with Portuguese, Dutch and English footprints. Its main tourist attractions are its Chinese fishing nets, the Dutch quarter, the Jewish town and its synagogue, and the Kathakali performances.

On the following pages, I will show you some of the points of interest in Fort Kochi and its surrounding islands.
