Madurai is a city in the south of India, in the state of Tamil Nadu. The town is known as the Temple City. The biggest temple in Madurai, and the main reason for visiting it, is the Meenakshi Temple.

Madurai is a popular destination among Indian pilgrims. Lately Madurai is attracting big crowds of tourists, who find here a very authentic South Indian city.
