7/15.- Pondicherry, Manakula Vinayagar Temple

The Manakula Vinayagar Temple was built before the French came to Pondicherry, five centuries ago. The French Jesuits and missionaries tried to demolish the temple several times, but every time locals crowds saved the temple.
