9/15.- Pondicherry, Varadarajaperumal Temple

Another of the Hindu temples worth visiting in Pondicherry is the Varadarajaperumal Temple. This is a walled complex in the southeast of the town.

In the picture you can see the main gate with its gopuram. Gopurams are towers decorated with hindu gods and mythological statues, typical of Hindu temples in the south of India.
