Udaipur is known as the most romantic city in Rajasthan. Its beautiful lake has a lot to do with it. The city is also known as the garden city of Rajasthan, for its many parks and gardens.

The city is rather big, but its tourist attractions are in a small area around Lake Pichola. Its main landmarks are the City Palace, the Jainist Temple and two fabulous palaces built on artificial islands.
