19/27.- Utrecht, Dom and shoppers

Due to the presence of the University, Utrecht is a very “young” city in spite of the presence of many old buildings and monuments. Saturday is shopping day, when the old city centre and its surrounding modern shopping precincts teem with crowds of youngsters. Note the variety of gables, a typical Dutch sight.
