If you want to get to the Island of the Parrots (Ilha dos Papagayos) you will have to wake up really early, the tour starts at 4h30 am. A minibus will pick you up at your hotel, and it will take you to the dock where the tourist boat departs. In 40-50 minutes you will get to the small parrot island. You will get there before the sun rises.
