At Avenue Paulista number 37 is the Casa das Rosas, built in 1935 by Ramos Azevedo. Azevedo is one of the most famous architects from São Paulo. His most famous works are the Theatro Municipal and the Shopping Light.
The name of the house comes from the roses in its gardens, that are said to be the most beautiful in town.
