On the way to Monteverde you will see some spectacular views. The road is quite bumpy, but driving here is a nice experience.
On the road you will find plenty of places to eat and rest. Most of the restaurants and hotels in the area are owned by Europeans, mostly Germans and Swiss. There are also some nice places to stopover and take pictures of the landscape.
