The other volcano which can be seen from the streets of Antigua is called Volcan Acatenango. It has two summits, Pico Mayor (13,000 feet, 4,000m) and Yepocapa (12,729 feet, 3,880m). The last times the volcano erupted were in 1924 and 1927, since then it has remained dormant.
