The visit to the market will take you between two and four hours. Most one-day tours will drop you close to the market around 11 o'clock, and pick you up around 14 pm.
If you get hungry during your visit, you will find food stalls in the market. They serve basic Guatemala dishes at very cheap prices. Next to the market you will also find proper restaurants that sell all sort of regional food.
