This picture was shot in the beach in front of the crafts market close to Negril downtown. If you walk along Negril's main road, you have to turn right before the bridge over south Negril river. Not far from this market you will find a Jamaica tourist board office. Negril's main tourist office is in downtown, in coral seas plaza, in front of scotiabank.
If you are staying in one of the cheap resorts, they may not let you pay with traveler checks. If you have a credit (or debit) card, you can use the ATM machine in Scotiabank. They will also change your traveler checks for Jamaican or American dollars.
