These boats belong to local fishermen. Although tourism has brought some jobs to the area, fishing and farming are still the main source of income. People here do not have much, but most of the Jamaicans I met, were happy to live here. The area does not have the problems that affect other parts of the island. And although the area can not be considered 100% safe, crimes are very rare.
