Manhattan Bridge, originally called "Suspension Bridge Number 3", connects the Bowery and Canal Street in Chinatown with Flatbush Avenue in downtown Brooklyn. The bridge was inaugurated on December 31, 1909. This is one of four bridges over the East River. The others are the Queensboro, Williamsburg, and Brooklyn Bridge.
