North of Harlem are The Cloisters, a section of the Metropolitan Museum of Art dedicated to medieval art. Inside this museum, sponsored by John D. Rockefeller Jr., are reproductions of Romanesque and early Gothic European churches. Some original parts -- columns, capitals, cloisters and apses can be found in these reproductions.
