Carved by water, winds, seas and sands, the Grand Canyon overwhelms you with its sheer vastness. Some 227 miles long , 18 miles wide and one mile deep, the Grand Canyon takes your breath away. Now, granted it was a windy day when I visited, but I assure you it was the magnitude of the Grand Canyon that left me gasping. If you want to keep on gasping in awe, then hop on a mule and wander down deep into the canyon.
