About a mile-and-a-half north of the Art Institute of Chicago (and downtown) lies another of Chicago's most popular destinations, Lincoln Park.
Lincoln Park is Chicago's largest public park (about 1200 acres), following along the shoreline of Lake Michigan. The park includes a variety of sports fields, boating facilities, gardens, beaches, etc., but the main highlight is the Lincoln Park Zoo.
