The first donation for the construction of the Disney Concert Hall, came from the widow of Walt Disney, Lillian, in 1987. As in other Gehry works, the budget was exceeded, which caused a delay in its inauguration.
Finally in 2003 the project was completed, with funds provided by private donors and the Los Angeles County. The result is the amazing building you can see in these pictures.
