In the Yosemite National Park there are four main areas:
Yosemite Valley, with its trails, waterfalls, lakes and easy access by car and bus, this is the area that gets more visitors.
Glacier Point, a viewpoint 30 miles (one hour) from Yosemite Valley, with views of the valley, Half Dome and the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
Tuolumne Meadows, a beautiful meadow with scenic views of the surrounding peaks and the Tuolumne River.
Wawona & Mariposa Grove, with the historic Wawona Hotel and, south of it, Mariposa Grove, home of the giant sequoias.
On the following pages I will give you more information about these areas.
