Here they are, typical Almatyneans. They gathered on the New Square to look the festival and the big concert on the 1st May(the International Unity Day in Kz and non-working day). Many people use to go to the city squares and parks to walk and relax. That day the big concert took place on the New Square (the biggest in Almaty). There were representatives of all ethnic groups from all Kz regions dressed in traditional costumes and presented folk art and performed traditional dances and songs.
