There are many interesting one day excursions from Manag. The views are specially spectacular here, so it’s not a waste of time spending at least one day in Manang. In Manang you can also experience bargaining, but before you start bargaining you should ask the normal price to other travelers or locals. You shouldn’t pay less than what’s ethical (prices are very low in Nepal compared with the western economies), but you shouldn’t pay more than the average, because that would have a negative effect too (inflation).
