Although Lijiang night action finishes early, around 12 pm, Lijiang can be considered a party city too.
Every night Chinese tourists go to the bars and restaurants in the town's main streets to have some fun. After some drinks, they start singing. Groups of local girls and boys compete against each other in this singing competition. Sometimes visiting families join in the action too. I did not understand the songs, but I had a lot of fun watching.
