During the Festival locals perform Tibetan traditional dances. This is quite an authentic demonstration of local customs.
Litang is an isolated place. Not many people speak English here. It is recommended to travel with a local guide. Very few staff in hotels and restaurants speak English.
Although locals here also speak Chinese, the local language is Tibetan.
