Fatehpur Sikri was a city built in 1571 by Mughal emperor Akbar to serve as the capital, but after 16 years the project was abandoned. The complex consists of several palaces, mosques, tombs, and courtyards.
The easiest and most convenient way of reaching Fatehpur Sikri is by taxi. You can also get to Fatehpur Sikri by public bus, but delays are common.
