Sun sets are not as nice as in Palolem, but they are still ok.
Baga and Calangute have many restaurants that serve Indian and western food. There are also some night bars and clubs, but I would not consider Calangute and Baga party destinations either. Most discos in town accept only couples. If you are looking for action, you will have to go to Anjuna Beach, north of Baga.
