As you can see in this picture old and new mix in this city's quarter. While the streets preserve its cobble stones, some of the old bars have become cyber cafes --like the one on the left.
I hope I am not boring you with the explanations about the Bordeaux wines. Now I will talk about the grape varieties used to make the Bordeaux wines. To make the red wines, five red grape varieties are used: 'Merlot', 'Cabernet Sauvignon' and 'Cabernet Franc' are the most popular; two more varieties are exceptionally used, 'Petit Verdot' and 'Malbec'. To make the white wines, three varieties of white grapes are used: 'Sémillon', 'Sauvignon Blanc' and 'Muscadelle'.
