Brno is famous world wide for the Austerlitz Battle, which took place east of Brno on December the 2nd 1805. Austerlitz Battle is the most famous of the Napoleonic Wars. If you’re interested, you can visit the battle grounds and the Chateau of Slavkov U Brna, where the cease fire was signed a few days after the battle.
