We saw this bridge from the Royal Palace (remember?). The first car to cross this bridge (during its construction) was a car carrying the Hungarian Royal Crown from Buda to Debrecen during the Independence War. You can see here the famous lions on the bridge, their sculptor (János Marschalkó) killed himself jumping from this bridge, because the citizens of Budapest (or the king himself) criticized his works, because the lions didnt have tongues.
