You can see here the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and some of the statues at the base of the column. On this square have taken place some remarkable facts, like many important personalities burials and a holy mass by Pope John Paul II.
At both sides of the square there are two museums. On our left the Museum of Fine Arts, which opened its doors in 1906, and has one of the best art collections in the world, with more than 120,000 works.
