This Baroque Town Hall was built in 1727-1730 by Antonius Erhard Martinelli in the place of the old Renaissance Town Hall. This colorful building reflects the good times the economy and the political life of the city underwent in the 18th century. The four statues on the top personify the four citizens virtues: Fairness, Wisdom, Caution and Bravery.
