From Rethymno a visit to Anogia village can be done by taxi or by bus. The bus to Anogia leaves from Rethymno bus station B at 5 am week days. It takes about an hour and a half to get to the village which is at the foot of Psiloritis mountains at an altitude of almost 800 meters.
Anogia is a typical Cretan mountain village famous for its art, history, rich traditions. It has a hotel and many accommodations for the interested tourist.
