If you plan to stay in Istanbul a full week then you should visit the major mosques of the city: Fatih Cami, Suleymaniye, Rustem Pasa.
The most beautiful, in my opinion, is Suleymaniye Cami, (pictured here as seen from the main courtyard). This is an architectural masterpiece built for Suleyman the Magnificent by his reputed architect Sinan.
