We are now in the first courtyard. You can see here the Mansion Tower. The entrance to the castle is free, but if you want to climb the tower’s 160 steps you’ll have to pay a few crowns. The view from there is great. This tower was constructed in 1257 and reconstructed in the 16th century.
At our back we have the access to the 2nd and 3rd Courtyard, on the gates there’s a pit with bears. They have been here since 1707. No, not the same ones, I meant bears have been bred here since then.
