The Ceske Budejovice Gate was built in 1598-1602 by Dominik Cometta of Eckthurn. At the other side of this gate there’s a bridge over the Polecnice stream. On the top of this side of the gate you can see a sundial, on the other side there’s a sculptured town emblem.
