Some of the houses on this street have an interesting history. Like house on number 54, known as Krcin’s house, because it belonged to Jakub Krcin of Jelcany, a Rozmberk regent. The house on number 71, which was the town brewery till the World War 2 and currently is the Egon Schiele International Center, where works of Picasso and other 20th century artists are exhibited.
