Sitges is a relatively small town. The city has no more than 20,000 inhabitants. In Summer this figure is higher. Most of the season residents have an apartment in the outskirts of Sitges (Aiguadolç, El Vinyet-Terramar, Els Ametllers, Vallpineda. La Llevantina). Some of the year-long residents live in the new housing estates of Garraf II and "Les Botigues de Sitges".
The town center is the place to be. It is small enough to be visited in one day. If you come in Summer, wait till late in the afternoon, when the sun will make your stroll much more pleasant. You won't need a map. Just follow your senses ...
