From Pamukkale we take a taxi to Denizli Cardak airport. Our destination will be Kayseri, Cappadocia. We can reach Kayseri by bus or by plane. The bus drive takes between 8 to 10 hours depending on the departure and destination points. The plane flight is only one hour but you have to connect in Istanbul. We chose the plane and spend the day in Istanbul then in the evening we boarded our flight to Kayseri. We got there around 9 pm. A car from our hotel in Goreme was waiting for us at the airport. From Kaiseri airport to Goreme village is one hour drive. We arrived just in time for a light dinner before going to bed.In the picture is shown the village of Goreme in the heart of Cappadocia.Cappadocia, in ancient times was Katpatuka or the Land of the Beautiful Horses. Today Cappadocia is refered to the area lying within the triagle Urgup, Avanos, Nevsehir. Most hotels are in Urgup, some in Goreme but if you were to chose your panorama then Goreme is your place to stay for the two or three days to spend in Cappadocia.
