15/30.- Madurai, Sree Meenakshi Temple

Next to the Chitra Gopura is the Golden Lotus Tank, or Potramaraikulam, where devotees take holy baths. The tank is surrounded by a corridor with paintings on the ceiling. You can see one of the paintings in the picture.
