Aswan is really hot during daytime, temperature is much milder by night. For this reason it is not strange that locals crowd the streets when the sun sets. Streets, shops, restaurants and everything else come to life with the dark.
It is great to see all this movement. The only problem is when you go to your hotel and the bustle does not stop. My tip: do not forget your ear plugs if you ever come to Egypt. Noises do not stop during night time: horns, voices, prayers, music and everything else goes on all night long.
