This photo was taken on the way to the Corniche (by the Nile). You can see here three man smoking the popular sheesha. You find them everywhere! This traditional water pipe is usually filled with tobacco with apple (or honey).
Women play a secondary role in Egypt, as in the rest of the Arab world. Local women cannot sit in cafes, they cannot smoke in the streets and they cannot show their skin. You may think this is unfair, but if you want to visit this country you should follow the local rules.
