Another of my recommendations is renting a car, or a motorbike, and driving all around the island. If you do not want to drive, you can also hire a local taxi.
Driving South from Cozumel Town, San Miguel, you will get to the southern most tip of the island, Punta Sur, where are a Lighthouse and an ecological reserve worth visiting.
