Here you have another of the Mayan reliefs found in Palenque. The two main personalities linked to Palenque are Pacal the Great, or the Shield, and Chan-Bahlum, the snake-jaguar, who made of Palenque one of the most powerful kingdoms in the Mayan Empire during the 7th century.
