Another nice excursion to do from San Cristobal de las Casas is to el Cañon del Sumidero. You will find agencies in the center of San Cristobal that organize tours to Sumidero. If you want to go on your own, you can take a collective bus, and ask the driver to drop you off at the park's entrance.
