Other things worth visiting in Amman are the Citadel, with Roman temples, Catholic churches and the National Archeological Museum; the King Abdullah Mosque, built in 1990; and the malls, like the City Mall and the Mecca Mall.
Amman has a good offer of accommodation, but in my opinion it is more convenient to overnight in a neighboring town, Madaba, from where you can start your visit to Jordan.
