18/33.- Aleppo, Christian Quarter

Al Jdeida, the New Quarter in Arabic, was created in the 16th century North of the Old City. Many Christian migrants settled in this area, and some churches were built.

Today the area is very charming, and some of its old houses have been converted into boutique hotels or chic restaurants.
