Aleppo, the Baron Hotel
Not far from Old Aleppo is a neighborhood with many hotels. One of the most famous, and the one with the longest history, in Aleppo is Baron Hotel, in the picture. It is here that Agatha Christie wrote her "Murder on the Orient Express". T.E Lawrence also spent many nights here
Today the hotel Baron is rather run down, but you may give it a try. In case you just want to see the interior of the hotel, tell the receptionist you are looking for a hotel and want to check the room first.
