18/48.- Damascus, Umayyad Mosque, minaret

Non-muslims are allowed to enter the mosque. Female visitors have to cover their bodies completely, a hooded cloak will be provided to them with the entrance ticket. Male visitors are asked to wear long trousers and long sleeves.
